F-P1 provides a complete temporary power solution for productions using our 7m × 6m Festival Stage where a suitable tested mains supply is unavailable.

Planning and booking

Want us to handle the production? You do not need to choose technical equipment yourself. Tell us your event date, location, audience size, timings and what is happening on stage, then contact JJL. We can recommend the stage, sound, lighting and power, and quote the engineers or technicians needed to run the event.

Choosing equipment yourself? Add your preferred stage and add-ons to your enquiry and submit your enquiry. If you or your production supplier will provide consoles, microphones or crew, tell us what you are supplying so we can check the connections and avoid duplicating equipment. We will confirm suitability, availability, delivery, staffing and the quotation before the booking is confirmed.

Our preferred approach is quiet battery power supported by portable solar generation. The planned maximum battery configuration provides up to approximately 30kWh of nominal storage, around 6.9kW continuous inverter output and up to approximately 3.2kW of portable solar capacity.

A flexible event power solution

The final supply is selected after assessing the chosen sound and lighting packages, event duration, operating schedule, site conditions, weather forecast and equipment availability. Depending on those requirements, we may provide:

• Battery and solar power
• An appropriately sized low-noise event generator
• A hybrid arrangement combining battery storage with generator backup or charging

This flexibility ensures the stage receives a suitable and reliable supply without committing the event to one specific power source before its requirements are confirmed.

Package includes

• Power assessment for the selected stage production equipment
• Suitable battery, solar, generator or hybrid supply as agreed
• Required stage power distribution and connection cabling
• Installation, testing and removal with the stage production

Battery capacity, solar yield and runtime are approximate. Actual performance depends on the connected load, programme material, event duration, temperature, shading and weather. Solar generation is supplementary and cannot be guaranteed.

Higher-demand productions may require separate supplies for sound and lighting. Generator fuel, refuelling, externally sourced equipment and requirements beyond the agreed base provision may be charged separately and will be confirmed in the quotation.

Community Pricing

Eligible charity, education, council and public-sector bookings receive 25% off this add-on when supplied from our own equipment. Externally sourced generators, fuel, delivery, crew and other direct costs are charged separately.
