Farnborough Park Estate | 27 June 2026 | Community celebration

A hundredth anniversary deserves a celebration that brings people together. For Farnborough Park Estate’s centenary street party, JJL Events & Technology supplied a mobile stage, sound system and technical support for the day’s entertainment.

The brief

The organisers needed a stage and sound setup that could accommodate live performers and a DJ. With different acts sharing the space, the planning also needed to cover sound checks, equipment connections and the transition between performances.

What we provided

We supplied our 5m × 4m mobile trailer stage with a PA system, digital mixing desk, wireless handheld microphones and drum microphones. Battery uplighters and a mobile DJ booth completed the equipment package. A sound engineer supported the entertainment, with JJL also handling stage delivery, setup and collection.

Planning around the performers

Before the event, we discussed the DJ’s vinyl decks and mixer connections so that the required power and audio cables could be ready during setup. The plan placed the DJ booth in a rear corner, ready to move into position for the set, and allowed a sound check before the event began. We also agreed to keep the stage and sound operational until 8.30pm to fit the organisers’ updated schedule.

The result

Grahame W left a five-star review on Add to Event two days after the celebration, praising the advice, setup and on-site sound team. He wrote: “the set up was flawless and their sound team on site made sure the performances went without any hitch.”
